What is the goal of Weight Loss Supplements?
Fat burning compounds help increase the rate of weight loss. They do this by increasing the metabolic rate, thus increasing the metabolism which can help burn the fat away. Some newer fat-burning compounds can also use a process called uncoupling, creating heat inside of a cell.
Typically fat burners will work directly with the fat cells as is the case with yohimbine, or vicariously through some hormones like adrenaline. Many fat burners can increase the level of adrenaline in the body and should be used carefully (always read the label!).
