Hyaluronic acid is a highly water-binding protein that provides the body with the necessary moisture in individual body parts. Roughly half of the hyaluronic acid in us is found in the skin, where it performs a moisture-retaining function. Due to its water-binding properties, it improves the hydration and elasticity of the skin and helps to make the lines disappear.
It is also found inside joints, eye sockets and other tissues, where it helps retain collagen, increases hydration, elasticity and flexibility.
Not only can it protect our joints from external influences, but by continuously lubricating the joints, it can prevent premature wear and tear, and it can also protect our body from joint wear and tear.
Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in the human body, most of it is stored in the skin, but it is present in almost all parts of the body: cartilage, muscles, synovial fluid, heart valves, and eyes. It is similar to collagen, it connects and fills the tissue between the cells like a net in the tissues, thus ensuring the appropriate flexibility and tightness of the organs. Compared to its own weight, it can hold several thousand times more water. It replenishes the skin and connective tissues, lubricates the joints, and is an important component of cartilage. It is a natural moisturizer, strengthens the immune system, helps the proper absorption of vitamins and minerals, and slows down the aging process.
