100% Beef Muscle is a low-sugar, lactose, gluten and fat-freed beef protein formulation, supplemented with carbohydrates and the branched-chain essential amino acid L-leucine. The daily dose of the product contains 30 g of hydrolysed beef protein, 2 g of L-leucine and 64 g of carbohydrates, mainly in the form of maltodextrin and starch. The protein content of the product can support your bulking goals by contributing to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass, and the carbohydrates are involved in the restoration of normal muscle function (contraction) after high intensity and/or prolonged exercise leading to muscle fatigue and depletion of skeletal muscle glycogen stores. This beneficial effect may be achieved by the intake of carbohydrate from any source, up to a total of 4 g/kg body weight, to be consumed in several portions within the first four hours, but not more than six hours, following high intensity and/or prolonged exercise leading to muscle fatigue and skeletal muscle glycogen depletion.
